KW Habilitation

A collaborative initiative between KWH and WCSWR that provides affordable housing to women experiencing domestic violence who are interested in being good neighbours. Following a “neighbour helping neighbour” model, this partnership gives women more than just a safe place to live – it also connects her with a community, as well as volunteer, education and job opportunities on site.

Neighbours and Loved Ones

Neighbours and Loved Ones is a community group that gives you the opportunity to gain tools and knowledge about how you can help someone you care about if you suspect they are experiencing domestic violence.

Neighbours and Loved Ones is led by an experienced social worker who will answer your questions and provide support.

What you’ll learn:

What is safety planning
What services does Women’s Crisis Services provide
Suggestions on how to respond in different situations
